TPC Sugarloaf
Opening in the spring of 1997, the TPC Sugarloaf quickly became Atlanta’s best new premiere private golf and country club. During the early stages of community development and membership enrollment, the Club enrolled 115 members prior to the 1997 BellSouth Classic, the official opening of the Club. Membership sales exploded from the exposure of the AT&T Classic [formerly BellSouth Classic], quality of the Club, and the golf course.
Now in its 11th year of operation, the TPC Sugarloaf has matured gracefully and continues to host the AT&T Classic, a PGA TOUR event. There is no better example of synergy and success between the development of a real estate community and the creation of a private country club than Sugarloaf Country Club and the TPC Sugarloaf. The amenities of the Community and the Club have created a lifestyle unsurpassed in Atlanta.
Club amenities and member programs include:
-
A Championship 27-Hole Greg Norman designed golf course.
-
A 60,000 sq. ft. Clubhouse catering the finest tastes in food and beverage to the casual comforts of the Golfers Grill and Sugarloaf Lounge.
-
A professional Tennis Center, inclusive of 14 hard and hydro-clay tennis courts, plus 3,500 sq. ft. Tennis Pro-Shop
-
The 12,500 sq. ft. Sports Center provides children’s youth and adult activities, offering an Aquatics facility with three pools, full fitness and workout facilities, Aerobics Center, game arcade, movie theater, locker rooms, and Cabana Café for food and beverage service.
-
Today, upscale real estate developments include Sports Center/Club facilities; however, the concept and reality of the Sports Center has become a significant value added feature of the TPC Sugarloaf and was an idea ahead of its time.
